The last couple of weeks have been fantastic for plants, the combination of rain and sun has put plant growth into overdrive and that includes the weeds. Sometimes it can feel that the weeds taking over, drowning out your precious seedlings and plants.
If you do not have time to spend with your weeds, do try at least to snap off any flower heads, particularly dandelions to stop them seeding and creating more of a problem in the future. If they are already turning from flower to seed head there is no time to lose, do try to ensure all the seeds get into your green bin rather than flying round the garden. When you have time you can go back and cut down or dig out the weeds.
