We recently needed to get a lilac and a cherry tree pruned and also wanted to tidy up the very over-grown shrubs in our back garden. We asked four local companies to quote and were most impressed with Chopwell’s prompt and courteous reply. Their quote was very competitive and, although it’s a small thing, Ram was the only one from the four companies who took his work boots off before walking through the house (without being asked). Ram worked quickly and neatly and did a fantastic job on the garden. It looks a lot bigger now that it has all been trimmed. He was able to knowledgeably advise on the pruning and removal of some plants and left the garden immaculately tidy. We’ll definitely be hiring Chopwell again – highly recommended!
Ram has pruned our leylandii hedge over the past few years. I am amazed by what he can achieve in a day and how tidy he leaves the garden. We’re really pleased with the work that Ram has done for us. Our pear tree is really old now and there were lots of dead branches at the top which was dangerous. We weren’t sure if it needed cutting down completely or whether the tree could be saved. We asked Ram for his advice and he advised that we just needed to cut off the dead branches. Ram was very knowledgeable and I’m so glad that my husband didn’t end up doing it as Ram knew exactly which branches to take off and had all the right equipment to do the job safely and professionally. The tree has a lovely shape to it now and looks much better. We’d definitely recommend Ram and will use him again in the future.

Ram came and did some work for us, he was with us for 6 days, the job included felling several big trees, creating hedges from bushes and trees growing on the perimeter, shaping bushes, trees and removing ivy from our house. It was a big undertaking but he cut back our unruly garden into fine shape. He was conscientious, worked hard and left the garden in a tidy manner.
